A Truly 'Relentless' Weekend Ahead

The line up for Relentless this weekend is quite something ... and that's before you get us started on the quality bands for the Leeds and Reading rock festivals (...as sponsored by Relentless!) Beyond the Chillies, Fall Out Boy, Razorlight and co ... we've got surf, wake, ski, BMX, MX and motorsport supersport action all on top... seriously this bank holiday ain't no holiday at all. It's an adrenalin fueled banquet of core sport and rock action! If you're in the neighbourhood, come say hello at any of these gems of core sport and rock... we'll be waitin'

Reading & Leeds.jpg

Stop 1 - Reading Rock Festival. Look out for the campsite can. Should be easy to find amongst the 200,000 revellers descending on the town. Right .... Failing that, we'll see you stage side in the mosh! Our only concern ... just too many bands, too few pairs of feet to cover the ground to see them all...

PICT0510.JPG

Stop 2 - Leeds Rock Festival. Another 120,000 over 3 days. And ahh the 24hr zone to recharge or stay on it. Your call. And with so many stages, that big dilemma ... how to be in 2 places at once ... next years challenge to overcome for sure.

IMG_1843.jpg

IMG_1857.jpg

Stop 3 - The MX British GP at Donnington Park - race day Sunday. Relentless Suzuki, the Swift Boys and Billy Mac all sponsored by Relentless and gunning for international honours in front of 50,000. Not to be missed.

Billy aerial Phat.jpg

Stop 4 - Cadwell Park and the British Superbike Champs (you guessed it as sponsored by Relentless - race day Monday. Our boys Ian Lowry and Michael Laverty running 1 and 2 in the Supersport class. Lots to be there for - and these TAS boys know how to make it interesting. A quality day of Relentless racing guaranteed.

Thruxton IL.jpg

Stop 5 - The Liquid Leisure Night Jump in Datchet - sunday night. Man was not built to fly?... try telling that to this crew. 70mph into a ramp on a set of sticks. Sure it's water ... but at that speed from these heights ... it's concrete. No Half Measures in deed. And lots of juice, a wakeboard big air comp and no doubt a phat party to match ... big Stu knows how to throw em.

Wake Jonty NightJumpJG.jpg

Stop 6 - the Princes Pro Am - finals Sunday. The best waterski slalomers in the world arrive in our back yard. Our boy Mr Larkin ready to do the business. All that squash training to pay dividends eh Az??? .... and you know I trained you hard. ;-) There's also a little floodlit action on the cable Friday night with the local wakeboarding crew primed and ready for action. Young Relentless rider Nick Davies contemplating the big 12... get in there son!

Event Full Stretch Princes Aaron at 5 Ball Hard.jpg

Stop 7 - the British BMX Champs from Burnham on Sea - Saturday.Sunday competitions. Our boy George has pulled himself off his recovery bed (shoulder pinned with 5 screws no less) to get down to activate this one. Relentless sponsorship and Relentless riding for sure.

0431.jpg

Stop 8 - The BPSA Surf Tour comes to Bude. Skills grooved in Newquay given a second airing. Now for that wave dance...

sarahsrilanka.jpg

Ahhh a magnificent .... uhhh 8 ... poingnant. Emotional. And that's before we kick it all off.

Well given the amount of miles will be covering to activate the brand it's a good job we've got the juice to keep us on it! And the new Inferno at that ... we'll be waiting with a chilled one. See you then.

'Relentless Energy Drink' at the Rip Curl Boardmasters 2007

RCB

Relentless Energy Drink have taken the associate sponsorship of the UK’s largest Action Sport and Music Festival, The Rip Curl Boardmasters 2007. To follow is a run down of Relentless activities taking place in Newquay this summer.

NHM Tour

Starting on the beach and Relentless brings its third in a series of No Half Measures Tours. The No Half Measures Tours offer a chance for a select few of our most talented young athletes to show their mettle as they push the limits of the sport. Receiving guidance and inspiration from the industry’s leading lights along the way; some of the best UK riders will also have access to training from a seasoned pro as well as physio support, health and nutrition advice and sponsor relations management. This training ground offers a place for riders to train and receive 100% support. This week the discipline is Vert skateboarding and over from Australia to push the kids is Gravity Games winner and former world number 1, Tas Pappas. Tas will be over to coach the UK’s best youngsters including the likes of Sam Beckett, Sam Bosworth and Paul-Luc Ronchetti.

Gukilau

The main event at the Rip Curl Boardmasters is the surfing and Relentless will be keeping a very close eye on two of the members of Relentless surf team taking part in the 5 Star Mens WQS Event. Sam Smart and Jayce Robinson will be flying the Relentless flag against the best in the World.

Gary Taylor

Elsewhere on the Fistral site you will be able to check out some of Relentless other ‘toys’ including the Relentless Suzuki MotoX and Superbikes!!! If that’s not enough Relentless will be providing a deluxe athlete lounge for all surfers and vert skaters at the event. The athletes will be able to access this area at all times for relaxation or recharging. Look out for the Jacuzzi!!!

Venturing over to Watergate Bay and the Unleashed Music Festival, Relentless Energy Drink are very proud to present the Relentless Energy Drink No Half Measures Stage. This will bring a second stage to the ever expanding Unleashed Festival and will be very well received by the festivals faithful. The line up is as follows:

Friday 10th August: Saturday 11th August:
Reuben Pinstripe
The Future The Milk Teeth
The New 1920 Ting Tings
Enjoy Destroy Matt and Kim
Saving Aimee Palladium

If you need a break from the music simply turn around to witness the UK FMX Team performing their unique display including the back flip from Relentless team riders Gary Taylor and Danny Veale. These guys are the embodiment No Half Measures. It has to be seen to be believed!

Matt Crowhurst

Also at the Unleashed Music Festival will be the Vans Rococo Wakeboarding Rail Tour. This entails the UK’s best wake boarders and wake skaters being winched across a variety of long rails into a pool of water. Relentless representatives will include Matt Crowhurst, Jonty Green and World Cable Champion and recent 1080 stomper, Nick Davies.

To sum up Relentless have taken an absolutely No Half Measures approach to this event and will not go unnoticed in Newquay and at the Rip Curl Boardmasters this summer.

July 29, 2007

Mr Nick Davies Everyone ....

... the man that nailed a 1080 off the kicker Friday night at Princes. Take a bow big man. The first landed in Europe we're told and we believe and certainly the first on our doorstep! Check out the Relentless Myspace site, youtube, wakestuff.co.uk and probably by now pretty much any wakeboard video savvy website on the net for a view of this hardcore No Half Measures action...

The 'Relentless' No Half Measures Wakeboard Tour, from London to MK to Birmingham to Wakestock

Team Stretch

Well it’s been a long but amazing week and apologies for not getting back to you sooner. Lack of internet access on the road has made it all a little tricky to keep you all updated! Never fear however because right now we're here to regale you with the tales from the road and bring you up to speed with everything that went down. The riding, the parties, the high’s and low’s and of course Wakestock!

Nick Davies Wake MK

Last time we posted we had just left the crew heading up to Milton Keynes. A good session was had before sneaking over to the Sno!Zone and the Air Kix skydive simulator. We knew they were going but us office monkeys had to step up to our responsibilities at the office, sooooooo jealous as been their so many times but not had a go! We sponsor the venue so they were more than happy to let our entire crew, filmers and photogs all have a crack! Big Up Xscape and all involved.

Jonty Flying

Flying Team

That night the bus made its way to Tamworth and the legendary Ten-80. However there was a little drama on the way as the bus broke down! After a quick game of poker and some quick repairs the guys were back on the road unscathed.

Poker on M6

Break down on M6

On arrival the tour was met by Aussie Scotty Broome who then showed a bit of his antipodean style. Scotty is a great guy and has been around for a while and knows a thing or two about the game making him a great asset for the tour. After a great session with Scotty taking the yellow jersey the boys got ready for a deserved night out. Thanks go out to Oli at Ten-80 for looking after us all with his generous hospitality.

Scotty Broome

Sam Carne

James met back up with the boys in the Birmingham hotspot, the Cotton Club, where they were surrounded by the local talent. It’s amazing what a bit of blond hair and some chiseled biceps can do! (must get down the gym Rodders was heard to say!)

Rider Lounge

Wednesday was a travel day as the journey to Abersoch and Wakestock is a bit of a trek. On arrival the weather was a little blowy so we called off the practice session and went for a good meal and an early night ready for Thursdays practice.

din dins

Thursday was practice for everyone but it did mean a bit of waiting around as there was one boat for all entrants. The guys all did their practice runs while the rest of the Relentless crew got busy at Wakestock and the surrounding areas! Big up the rep teams for their No Half Measures job. If you didn’t see Relentless at this one you may need to get your eyes tested.

Relentless Mudstache

Matt backflip

On to Friday and qualifiers. All our guys were pre qualified so once again today was another waiting game. We mainly chilled around site whilst physio and nutritionist Shannon eased any aches and pains out of the guys, all the time making sure they ate correctly. All the boys took it easy on Friday night even though there was the Wakestock madness going on all around them. James, however, did sneak over to the covered stage to hear Mark Ronson who was pretty fine. Something we've have forgotten to mention was the torrential rain that hit the site that day. Wow, it really was a lot (as national news reports have since highlighted!) and although it did not deter the festival revelers you could sense there may be trouble the next day.

Nick flip

We all woke up to rumours of the festival being cancelled and unfortunately after some calls to production the rumours were true. Gutted! However rain is not going to affect wakeboarding so the wake comp still took place. This was where we would find out how the tour had helped the crew. The answer was YES YES YES. Although we did not get top spot Jonty Green rode sooooo well and took second and had he landed his attempted 720 he would have had the win. He just misjudged the take off and mid spin had to convert back to a 540 which he stomped. This is a super hard thing to do so props to Jonty for fixing it! In third was tour rider James Young, whose attitude the entire week was outstanding. James has a big future ahead of him (and admittedly already a pretty phat present!).

slider

A quick mention for Nick Davies who went into the finals as a favourite but unfortunately fell on a couple of tricks. Most uncharacteristic of the Princes flyer! Goes without saying the man is a natural on a wakeboard and will be back another day! After some team signings, some further outstanding chat on the mic from Relentless pro Mr Crowhurst and his right hand man Mouse, there was prize giving and then it was back to the bus to get ready for the night ahead.

signing.jpg

With the main event done and dusted it was time to celebrate and where else but 5 degrees. The drinks (RV’s) flowed and everyone had a good time. It didn’t matter that the music event had been cancelled. The entire wakeboard scene was in one area having a blast.

Mark Rossiter

Sunday was the last day on tour before heading back down to the London area. Before the bus cranked for the last time the guys went out and hit the pool gap in what was a killer session. Tour Manager Matt Crowhurst ruled the session which I thought was pretty fitting after all his hard work martialling the troops all week..

Matt poolgap

Massive thanks got to all the riders including Nick Davies, Jonty Green, Matt Crowhurst, Sam Carne, Lewis Cornwall, James Young, Dom Hatcher, Scotty Broome, Mark Rossiter, MC Mouse, photographer Steve Harwood, Physio/nutritionist Neil Shannon and filmers Jon and Fraser. We could not have asked for a better crew! Thanks from Relentless and see you all again next year to rerun the fun. Time to go looking for an even bigger bus ... tell us, what did they do with the space shuttle when it's not out there doing its thing?

'Relentless' No Half Measures Wakeboard Tour Diary Entry Days 1-3

Inspiration and improvement .... welcome to the Relentless No Half Measures Wakeboard Tour 2007! Well it all kicked off at the Quays Nightmare Slider Comp. First stop in what is to be a week long journey around the country ending at the UK's premier wakeboard comp, Wakestock.

bus crew

On tour are some of the leading riders and personalties in the UK wakeboard scene. we won't embarass them by throwing out a list of names but you know who they are ... they've been talking about this gig for weeks!!! Also on tour to document and added the professional touch to the week is Steve Harwood and Grain Media as well as physio and nutritionist the task master himself, Mr Neil Shannon.

massage

The Quays Slider comp commenced with qualifiers at 6pm before finals at 10 pm in the dark illuminated by lighting rigs on the banks. For the crowd the rail looked great but it seemed to be a different stroy for the riders who found it tricky to spot the take off! Well its the same for everyone and only goes to highlight their skills. As we like to say, No Half Measures and as Relentless were providing the £600 prize money, bring it on!

Cons

All the riders were having a good crack and from our crew it was Jonty, James and Matt Crowhurst pushing the hardest. Unfortunately they did not make the podium but a great time was had by all at the event, which was, by the way, fancy dress. The Relentless Tour Convicts made a huge impact and then proceeded to have a ball. Sorry bus driver Chris if we kept you up at all, won't happen again!

bye bye lewis

The next morning was an early start as the Tour Bus departed at 7am to go to Princes Club for an 8am boat session. Shannon woke the lads up with a healthy breakfast and a can of the good stuff to get them fired up for the forthcoming session. However there was of course time to lob birthday boy Lewis Cornwall into the drink! haha!

Dom Hatcher

After a little bit of boat trouble the session was fully in swing and all the boys were ripping. It was at this point the best session yellow jersey was introduced. The yellow jersey is awarded for best session but the criteria is not just best riding but best attitude and commitment. Basically the core philosophies of Relentless. In the running for this session were two cable experts Lewis Cornwall and Dom Hatcher who both showed the courage to really try and improve their boat skill and were not scared to learn. Lewis laid down a few untried tricks while Dom went down real hard in one of his sets but not before he tweaked out a few mighty bat wings! In the end however it was Jonty Green who took the yellow jersey with sets that involved new tricks, big slams and an energy and striving for results that was clear for all to see. Nice one Jonty, see how long you can hold onto it!

jonty

After lunch it was off to Oxford and the Annual Oxford Wakeboard Club Event. This turned out to be a really chilled session and of course our lads came out on top. Nick Davies took home the win with Jonty and James in second and third! Once again their was a little party before bed time! It was lewis' birthday so i guess its allowed! Just don't ever ask James Young for one of his yet to be named cocktails unless you have the sweetest tooth known to man.

party fires

Another early start and the boys had a ride at Oxford before heading back to Princes for a rest before taking on an evening double up session. Night riders every man...

grand air

This morning kicked off at 6.30 for some dawny photo opps and at present the team is on the motorway heading to Milton Keynes for another ride before they will hit up the Sno!Zone at Xscape and try a little cross over action. Looking forward to seeing how they go and will report back later. Hopefully tomorrow. Later. R.

'Relentless' No Half Measures Wakeboard Tour 2007

The Relentless No Half Measures Wakeboard Tour kicks off this Friday with the Quays rail comp!

Oh and it's fancy dress, look out for the crew in their outfits 'stikin it large' either here or at any of the venues below. Time to train, time to be inspired, it's going to be a sick week, ending at Wakestock the following weekend!!

What A Few Weeks For The 'Relentless' Crew

Well the team has been busy and then some.... and the results ... simply awesome! A quick run down of the highlights for you all includes...

Bruce 'Almighty' Anstey nailed the Superstock class at the TT and 'Archie' Adrian Archibald, 3 times previous winner came away with his fastest ever lap time and superb 4th Place in the Senior Superbike race... you had to be there. Unreal No Half Measures action. Massive respect to the 'Relentless Suzuki' TAS outfit.

The TT Line Up.jpg

A Bruce readying.jpg

Winning Bike.jpg

Meanwhile the MX 'Relentless Suzuki' boys have simply been going off. Jamie Law has been fighting off a shoulder injury to soldier on and hold down second spot in the British U21 class. Lewis Gregory, on the back of his fantastic result in Sweden, has been showing a real turn of speed and serving up the odd spectacular off to keep us all on the edge of our seats (Langrish was a close call but fortunately for our boy one he doesn't really remember!). Young Alex Snow had a cracking ride in Spain at the Alhama De Murcia track bringing home a 9th in race 2 just behind Lewis' 5th. Sean Hamblin and Elliott Banks Brown, riding for the Relentless sponsored Swift Suzuki Team, have found some real speed out on the GP circuit for sure and at Langrish they were definitely on it. And lastly Mr Mac, Mr 211, enough said, the boy's on fire.

A Billy.jpg

But the pros aside, the star on the track last week was 'Relentless Suzuki Academy' rider Luke Dean who became the All British Small Wheel 85cc Champion after a hectic weekend of racing at the event at Brookthorpe in Gloucestershire. Here's the future guys, here's the future...

Away from the track, last weekend also served up the Relentless Wakeboard Cable Nationals on our home turf at Princes. With the sun beating down, the jolly juice flowing and Relentless Mr Crowhurst on the mike it was down to the 60 entrants to do their thing. Step up Mr Nick Davies, a double S bend to blind 'BEFORE' the first corner and finishing with a monster 7. Game over. That said there was just time for Relentless' other own Mr Jonty Green to make the judges pause for thought with his usual phat off axis 5 and pretty much everything tweaked out. 1 and 2. So what was it Mr Davies had on his helmet? What was he downing by the bucketload ahead of his sets ... you know it.

A Nick Hat.jpg

PS James - mate, I'm not sure ripping the sleeves off does make 'your' guns look any bigger...

January 20, 2007

HELLO 2007 !

Well friends it hasn't stopped at Relentless HQ. Although we've not been live on the blog these past few weeks rest assured we've been crazy busy behind the scenes pulling together the plans for a tight year on Relentless in 2007. Lots to come on this over the next few weeks but first things first ... let us introduce you to the enhanced Relentless Team for this year and beyond. Here's the story...

"Remembering Relentless is the drink for athletes and professionals who are ready to stamp their mark on their sport – those that embrace the grind in the knowledge that even genius has to pay its dues, those who live and suffer for their art on a daily basis.

With this in mind last year saw us combing the country for the UK’s stand out core sport artists … Those who proved their obsession, stamina and white-hot talent - those who wore No Half Measures attitude and artistry for all to see – were invited to come and ride for Relentless. And in doing so we would look to showcase their attitude, their artistry, and tell their story.

Today, joining the established artists at Relentless we are proud to announce snowboarders Tyler Chorlton and Gary Greenshields, BMX rider Mark Webb, The Death Skate Team, wakeboarders Nick Davies and Jonty Green, downhill mountain biker Will Longden, kitesurfer Lewis Crathern, FMX riders Gary Taylor and Danny Veale, surfers Micah Leister, Toby Atkins, Jayce Robinson, Dan Joel, Ian Battrick and Sam Smart and motox riders Alex Snow and Jamie Law who along with Lewis Gregory will be riding for “Relentless Suzuki” on the British and European stage in 2007. Look out for this crew – their talent, their achievements and their Relentless stories in the year ahead."

First story as premiering in this months Wavelength, Pit Pilot and Carve - Mr Sam Smart. Surfer, Boxer and all round Relentless to the core. Attitude and artistry. We love his work.

Sam Press.jpg

So much more to come on and from this crew in 2007. We'll be telling their stories right here and beyond. Be seein' ya soon. Ciao for now.

‘Not Always Rock and Roll’

Matt With Can.jpg

Mr Matt Crowhurst, professional wakeboarder and Relentless sponsored rider, offers a slightly different view on what the grind can look like for a pro athlete on the road. BUT still with that same sense of when your efforts pay out the suffering is worth it for the feeling of total personal satisfaction you get from nailing it in the end ... 'No Half Measures' on and off the water.

"If I had a pound for every person that commented on my fortunate lifestyle, well, I’d be even more fortunate I guess. Yep, I’m bloody lucky, I know it and appreciate everyday I spend living it. Its not all rock and roll though - he says typing from his Hotel room in Ibiza - but there is a certain amount of daily grind that goes with the territory which most, pretty much everyone doesn’t see. Most people don’t see it because I live my life on the road, worldly belongings in the back of my car, couch here, couch there and a good bit of elbow grease in places, all behind the scenes so that my riding is the focus in the public eye, just the way I want it. Now involved with putting my own events together I’ve realised that they only work through a large amount of effort by a good few people, Animal Windfest was the most recent and a perfect case, with lots of hard work by all including me spending a couple of days up to my nuts in S!*T retrieving slider materials and pool liners on my todd.

Matt2.jpg

OK, so the long short of it is that none of you are feeling sorry for me with regard to this day of hard work when most of you out there a part of the daily grind anyway, my point is that a lot of peops who are ‘living the dream’ have put and continually put a load of effort in somewhere at some point to get where they’ve got as well as putting up with certain things too. Whether it means not being quite sure whether you’ve got enough fuel money to get you to your next event, not knowing where you staying when you get there. Putting your own event on to push your sport in the direction you want it to go or working, saving, riding…working, saving, riding!

Matt1.jpg

The grind is always there somewhere but doing your own thing on the road, makes the sweet that bit sweeter!

-MC"

'Relentless' At Windfest

As the summer ends and the autumn arrives, so the Animal Windfest party cranks it up down on the south coast to welcome in the new season. Only this time round there was no wind. While Lewis and his Kite crew dispondantly headed off to the bar, our own Matt (doing a superb job in pulling the wakeboarding side of the Windfest gig together...), his boy Hamish and the other slightly loopy riders from the UK wakeboard scene, knocked back their Relentless and headed off to play on the UK's third and final pool gap of the summer. Honestly ... the boys went off! A few memories from the weekend attached for your viewing pleasure ...

The Summer Jam Clash Of The Titans

It's been a big summer for the UK wakeboarding scene. At Milton Keynes in early September the crew stepped up to test themselves and entertain the attending masses at the Wake MK Summer Jam. A 2006 first head to head on the cable for Jonty Green, Ben Hitch and Nick Davies with the new wave of groms pushing them hard, Relentless was there to fuel the chase and then sit back, make itself comfortable and watch some of the most hardcore riding this year. Here's a few memories from the day...

'No Half Measures' Podcast

Born of the culture. Respecting of the culture. Supporting of the culture. Relentless.
Matt Crowhurst shows us the way.

If like us you're pretty serious about your core sports your key focus is likely to be around self improvement. Learning new tricks, doing old tricks better, smoother, tweaked out. For the mere mortals among us that takes time, effort and training tips whenever, wherever we can get them. In terms of these tips this is where the No Half Measures Podcast series aims to help...

The series offers training tips you can take along to the park on your IPOD. When things aren't going as smoothly as you want the tips are there, an arms length away, to help shift the focus, illuminate the possibilities... well that's the intention anyway.

For our series we've started with wakeboarding. Why? Well, there's not much out there on wakeboarding at the moment so we think there might be a need. Added to which, we on the Relentless team love the sport, we have a quality rider and coach in Mr Matt Crowhurst on our doorstep, and we think you might just go nuts for some of the stuff Sean & Tim, our production crew, have pulled together. Pure attitude, stacks of artistry, and the promise of a lesson within. More to come on this in the coming weeks - for now, get out there, nail that backroll, and suffer just a little less for your art!

Student Wakeboard Nationals In Sheffield

Student Nationals.jpg
June '06
The Judges take refuge from the weather in the wheels ... not very Relentless gents.

If you look closely beyond the vehicles you might be able to make out the white caps on the lake ... but hey this is the north and this is a sport for the hardcore. We made it for day 3 of the Student Wakeboard Nationals at Sheffield Cable Waterski. The weather aside, it was a damn good day. All 80 entrants hitting it hard on the water (that kicker is the sweetest in the country!), Mr Crowhurst and Mr Harwood entertaining the masses (more accurately themselves...) on the mic, and Andy and his Sheffield team playing the perfect hosts as always. Our thanks to Andy, to Harry Seymour and Al Wilson for letting us come and play and to the Hyperlite and Reef posse for simply being there to hang with. Until next year chicos.

PS Any phat trick from the day feel free to send through and we'll be happy to replace this shot of the one ray of sunshine that broke through all day....

The Princes boys did good - Jonty and Ben one and two in the Open with Dom landing a sweet fourth. Nick, James and Gary filling the podium in the juniors. Quite a result gentlemen! Respekt to the crew - we know just how hard they work! No Half Measures from these lads for sure! ... now, did anybody catch what these guys have been drinking lately? ;-)

Just in time for the nationals. Gary, Steve ... the architects at Princes ... great job fellas! We encourage all to get down to the club and give it some stick. Tell us what you think. And be sure to look out for Mr Jack Wayne chasing the gap 5. The blind 3 is already sick enough but No Half Measures the boy's out to take it on! As for us mere mortals, let's all go play....

'Relentless' Was There For The UK's First Pool Gap Project

Pool Gap Project.jpg

Dialled in and nailing it. Dieter does skategod.

Honestly? When we think of Skegness we think more of 99 Flakes and donkey rides than we do hardcore action sports and a UK first on the wakeboarding scene. But then we'd never been to the Skegness X-Fest. A truck full of Relentless and a plan to power the kite, skate and wake community through the weekend we arrived at this seaside mecca in the early hours of Saturday morning. The kite crew were setting up their markers buoys, the skate dawgs were kicking back and spinnin' the decks, the boys from Wakeboard Alliance were....well these lads were putting together something very special. Say hello to the UK's first ever Pool Gap Project! In a car park in Skeggy!

The Alliance Team had their challenges, no doubt about it. Building the rig, filling the rig, holding the rig together, rebuilding the rig .... repeated as required! We're not sure the local scaffolding company had ever seen so much business nor the local fire brigade so much beach front action. But come mid afternoon, the team had nailed it. It was game on and the wakeboard posse that had come to play did not let the spectators down! We're sure you'll get the full low down from Alliance in the weeks ahead - for now rest assured that Craig McCulloch, Tim Woodhead, Chris Woodhead, Rob Moyle, Solid Jim, Jenna McAvoy and Dieter Humpsch ripped it up on the rigs 2 rails on offer. Mixing poetry and pain there's was a full on No Half Measures session!

When the crowds had dispersed and the boys had refuelled they came back for a sunset ride ... and it was phat! Look out for this killer footage on line and the Pool Gap making an appearance later this summer at Wakestock

What a day at Princes. The opportunity to try the latest boards, California-like sunshine, the UK's premier wakeboard spot, and enough Relentless to keep you on form for a week. Relentless' own rider Matt Crowhurst was killing it on the water, kicker and 'no half measures' slider along with Princes old hands and stalwart supporters of the Relentless movement Jonty Green, Ben Hitch, Nick Davies and Dom Hatcher. Our thanks to Steve Harwood and Duncan Hancock for letting us get involved, to all the riders for showing us what it is to fly, and to the crew at Princes for continuing to spread the Relentless lurve.

See www.princesclub.com for further information and more photos from the day.
