HELLO 2007 !

Well friends it hasn't stopped at Relentless HQ. Although we've not been live on the blog these past few weeks rest assured we've been crazy busy behind the scenes pulling together the plans for a tight year on Relentless in 2007. Lots to come on this over the next few weeks but first things first ... let us introduce you to the enhanced Relentless Team for this year and beyond. Here's the story...

"Remembering Relentless is the drink for athletes and professionals who are ready to stamp their mark on their sport – those that embrace the grind in the knowledge that even genius has to pay its dues, those who live and suffer for their art on a daily basis.

With this in mind last year saw us combing the country for the UK’s stand out core sport artists … Those who proved their obsession, stamina and white-hot talent - those who wore No Half Measures attitude and artistry for all to see – were invited to come and ride for Relentless. And in doing so we would look to showcase their attitude, their artistry, and tell their story.

Today, joining the established artists at Relentless we are proud to announce snowboarders Tyler Chorlton and Gary Greenshields, BMX rider Mark Webb, The Death Skate Team, wakeboarders Nick Davies and Jonty Green, downhill mountain biker Will Longden, kitesurfer Lewis Crathern, FMX riders Gary Taylor and Danny Veale, surfers Micah Leister, Toby Atkins, Jayce Robinson, Dan Joel, Ian Battrick and Sam Smart and motox riders Alex Snow and Jamie Law who along with Lewis Gregory will be riding for “Relentless Suzuki” on the British and European stage in 2007. Look out for this crew – their talent, their achievements and their Relentless stories in the year ahead."

First story as premiering in this months Wavelength, Pit Pilot and Carve - Mr Sam Smart. Surfer, Boxer and all round Relentless to the core. Attitude and artistry. We love his work.

So much more to come on and from this crew in 2007. We'll be telling their stories right here and beyond. Be seein' ya soon. Ciao for now.

Lewis Crathern Out 'n' About

Lewis2.JPG

So what's the boy been up to. Well, hot off the back of his recent British Championships victory the boy recently starred in a commerical for Nescafe in Greece. In his words "I got to jump over boats and work on a film set." Cool.
Bottom line, the big man's list of career achievements is starting to have a real No Half Measures look to it.

Lewis Takes The British Championships Title

Earlier this summer we had Lewis Crathern down at ours. Cool bloke. Extremely talented. We hung out, we knocked back a few cans of our go go juice and, hell it was the middle of summer so we went for a ride. An S bend later on only his 4th outing on a wakeboard we knew we had come across a special talent. More than happy to welcome him to the Relentless team we were totally stoked to see Lewis take the British Kitesurfing title at the weekend. As we look to get hold of some shots from the comp in Ireland here are some from that amped afternoon behind the boat in July!

Name :Lewis Crathern
Hometown: Worthing
Riding For: 3 Years
What makes me Relentless :"Kiteboarding is everything to me. I don't kiteboard because its cool. I do it because I have a need to be on the water. I've grown up on the beach and all I want to do is spend my time moving my sport forward and learning new tricks. I started competing on the British Tour last year and since then things have really picked up for me. Training in my sport can be frustrating when your not learning but its always fun with your friends. 50 Knots South West on my local beach is where it's at for me though. 100 foot jumps, Last man on the water. Relentless."

Like we said ... we like his style.

'Relentless' At Windfest

As the summer ends and the autumn arrives, so the Animal Windfest party cranks it up down on the south coast to welcome in the new season. Only this time round there was no wind. While Lewis and his Kite crew dispondantly headed off to the bar, our own Matt (doing a superb job in pulling the wakeboarding side of the Windfest gig together...), his boy Hamish and the other slightly loopy riders from the UK wakeboard scene, knocked back their Relentless and headed off to play on the UK's third and final pool gap of the summer. Honestly ... the boys went off! A few memories from the weekend attached for your viewing pleasure ...
