Save Harrow Skate Park Day

We volunteered to throw a bbq for the Save Harrow Skate Park Day on Saturday 19th April, as organised by Nick at Death, thinking we'd get a turn out of around 200 people as solid rain was predicted. How wrong could we get?? Over 400 of you rolled up to show your support to the park, a site that is hugely valued but unfortunately victim to property developers who will be using the land to build houses. To quote the UKSA "Skateboarding is being robbed of an irreplaceablepiece of its history, identity and culture".
It was a hectic day behind the barbie but left me with a warm fuzzy feeling, it was good to be involved and the skaters went off. To everyone involved well done for an amazing day. To find out more about petitioning the knock down go to www.ukskate.org.uk
