Brittish Motocross Championship - Round One

The opening round of the 2008 Maxxis British motocross championship took place this weekend on the jump infested Donnington Park circuit with sole Relentless Suzuki rider Scott Probert flying the flag for the team on the RM-Z250.

Despite riding with an injured hand, Scott still managed to score points in both races despite not being able to practice since early February.

Two mediocre starts and mid field incidents during both races were overcome with a good turn of speed and some grit and determination to score points with a 17th in race one and 14th in race two.

Team manager, Rob Hooper commented, “Scott showed that he will be more than capable of finishing in the top 10 when fully fit. He put 100% into his racing today to overcome the pain and discomfort. I couldn’t have asked any more of him”.

The team hopes to be back to full strength with a full rider line-up for round two at Canada Heights in two weeks time!
