'Relentless' 'No Half Measures' Skate Tour
This August (6-12th) will see the Relentless No Half Measures Skate Session’ hit the Rip Curl Boardmasters, offering a chance for a select few of our most talented young athletes to show their mettle as they push the limits of the sport. Receiving guidance and inspiration from the industry’s leading lights along the way; some of the best UK riders will also have access to training from seasoned pro Tas Pappas - as well as physio support, health and nutrition advice and sponsor relations management. This training ground offers a place for riders to train and receive 100% support.
The riders taking part will be – Sam Beckett, Paul Luc Ronchetti, Alex Halford, Rebecca Aimy Davies, Sam Bosworth, Jim Langham, Adam Stoddart, Reese Douglas, Jacob Anderson and Adam Halvorson.
Ten riders have been selected for their proven artistry and obsession for the sport, as well as being the embodiment of the Relentless attitude of No Half Measures. The sessions provide a platform for the riders to hone their considerable skills. The Relentless No Half Measures Sessions are like no other in that they offer a chance for fans to see the best train to get even better.
The Relentless No Half Measures Skate Sessions welcome Tas as the pro on tour. This hardcore Aussie vert Champion will be on hand to guide and inspire the riders, as well as displaying his Relentless spirit – he should know the score - he broke his back but has fought to get back to peak fitness. Some of the other accolades to Tas’s name include Gravity Games Winner and Hard Rock Cafe Triple Crown number 1.
Beyond the riders, these sessions offer the public the chance to checkout the rising stars in UK Skate, it also will give local riders the opportunity to pick up tips and feel the energy around this incredible sport when the best get out there and session it.
The No Half Measures Skate Sessions will take place during the Rip Curl Boardmasters, 6-12th August and will culminate with the Vans Summer Session Vert Comp over the final weekend.
The week will also include a U’16 Vert Comp on Wednesday 8th August at Boardmasters to give more competition experience and aid the rider’s competition runs.
