In the Feature Race, Laverty set a hot pace from the change of the lights to the chequered flag as Scottish rider Keith Amor, on his Robinson Concrete Honda, battled with his team-mate, Cameron Donald, who got past him at half distance to complete the podium places. Behind the first four, Ryan Rainey slotted into fifth place ahead of Adrian Archibald on the third Relentless Suzuki.

After taking the win, Laverty said: 'I knew that the Supersport 600 Bike was fast enough and kept the head down and went for the win. It feels good to be back in a winning vein.' Earlier in the day, Laverty had broken the Supersport 600 lap record for the Co Down circuit with a speed of 95.124mph as he beat Cameron Donald and Keith Amor.
